A realistic road to health and fitness
It’s no exaggeration to say fitness has been my life, from football, rugby and basketball at school, through studying Physical Education at University, to a 10+ year career within the fitness industry. I love it! And want everyone to feel the joy of being healthy in both body and mind.
Despite what I’ve said above, it’s not been plain sailing for 30+ years! I’ve been fat, super lean (abs out!), and now I’ve found the right balance, strong, fit and healthy (but not an ab in sight!). I know how easy it to get into bad habits, and I know how to help avoid those traps.
I’m not a PT who’s proudest moment would be getting a client abs! Though I’ve done this, I have no qualms in admitting those times were rare and with people who already had good training routines and ok diets. I just pushed the level and kept them super focused! And (unlike what most of the industry will tell you) that‘s what it takes, an extremely strict nutritional plan and intense training regime (or unscrupulous methods)! My proudest moments, are my clients that came to me saying “I’ll never want to train, but I’ll do it because I know I have to”, but have now completely changed that mind set and embedded a solid training program into their lives. And now as a bi-product of this, feel great physically and mentally, allowing them to overcome life challenges and enjoy life moments. That’s what it’s all about... happiness!
I PT out of a gym in Northampton, my PT hub in Wollaston, and also travel to surrounding areas to clients homes or local parks. Basically I work around you, whatever your needs we can work out a personalised plan to suite.
